Mrs. De Avila is originally from Mexico and brings more than 10 years of experience in education to Little Spanish Brains. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education with a specialization in Spanish from Escuela Normal Superior de la Laguna. During her career in Mexico, she worked directly with students before transitioning into an administrative leadership role supporting school programs and operations.

After moving to the United States in 2016, Mrs. De Avila continued her education, earning an Associate Degree from Keiser University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Since 2021, she has worked as a substitute teacher in local school districts and, for the past three and a half years, has also served as the Bilingual Lead Teacher with the Alvin ISD READy Program.

Mrs. De Avila believes that teaching is about much more than sharing knowledge. Her educational philosophy is rooted in empathy, love, patience, and personal commitment, creating an environment where children feel supported, valued, and excited to learn.
